The Restaurant presents an ever-changing menu focusing on flavours to compliment the extensive wine selection from Marienberg, Fern Hill and the many smaller boutique wineries in McLaren Vale.
Our chefs have a philosophy, which is centered on quality, zest and freshness - with a strong commitment to utilizing the best local produce the Fleurieu Peninsula has to offer. The chef's knowledge (and enjoyment) of wine makes the task of harmonizing it with food a joy.
The dining area has a light, airy casual feel surrounded by glass concertina doors offering natural light and ambience, and the opportunity on a beautiful day to become an open verandah-style dining area.
Carmel's is also the perfect venue for specialized weddings, parties or functions not always available at larger function outlets.
Carmel's radiates a comfortable, fun & friendly atmosphere which can be enjoyed 6 days a week Tuesday - Sunday 10 till late for lunch and dinner or anytime in-between to snack & simply relax over a coffee, a glass of wine or a margarita!!
